At October's Local Union meeting a group will be discussing pensions.
The Company will be having open enrollment meetings to discuss benefits. The tentative date is 10/30/2025.
The Company is making safety upgrades to the facility. The exterior doors will be required use with ID badges.
I'll be ordering boots again this year. I'll start taking orders in the middle of September. If you should need boots before then please let me know.
Hopefully shortly I'll be adding the section Quarterly Updates again .
I wanted to provide you with an update regarding the new payroll system, Workday.
While the issues with Workday minimal. As of now, the grievance filed is still in the second step of the grievance procedure and is under review to be settled. We remain committed to resolving any payroll errors that may arise.
One of the key challenges we've encountered involves training for salaried employees. Several gaps were identified, and as a result, extensive retraining efforts have been undertaken to ensure that all salaried employees are fully equipped to navigate the system effectively. We are confident that these measures will continue to improve the overall functionality of the system. In addition to settling the grievance, we'll be doing training for the FLSA overtime for members that are interested.
Please continue to monitor the Union website and Bulletin Boards at the plant for new information.
